About
The Brookings Institution is currently undertaking research that aims to understand how accessibility metrics are designed and implemented into transportation planning in different cities around the world. For the purpose of this study, accessibility is understood as the geographic access to urban opportunities, and not in terms of universal accessibility.
Your participation is greatly appreciated and gives you the chance to win one of the ten $50 Amazon gift cards. With a bit of your time, you can help us identify challenges and best practices associated with accessibility planning. The project team includes Adie Tomer, Fellow at the Brookings Institution Metropolitan Policy Program, Enrica Papa, Senior Lecturer at the University of Westminster, Ahmed El-Geneidy, Associate Professor with the McGill University School of Urban Planning, and Geneviève Boisjoly, Ph.D. Student at the McGill University School of Urban Planning.
This survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. Participation is voluntary, and you may exit the survey at any time. Completing the survey indicates consent to participate in this study. All survey responses will remain anonymous, stored on password-protected computers, and participants will not be identified in any publications or reports. The data may be kept for future related research purposes.
Please feel free to share the survey with any colleagues who are involved with accessibility planning, especially those who work with accessibility metrics.
